Dr. Navin received his Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University where he specialized in applied microeconomic analysis. He currently serves as Dean of the James F. Dicke College of Business Administration at Ohio Northern University. Prior to working at ONU, he served as the Dean of the School of

Dr. Navin received his Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University where he specialized in applied microeconomic analysis. He currently serves as Dean of the James F. Dicke College of Business Administration at Ohio Northern University. Prior to working at ONU, he served as the Dean of the School of Business at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. His research has been published in Economic Development Quarterly, Public Finance Quarterly, Growth and Change, Health Economics, Journal of Economics, Public Budgeting and Finance, International Review of Economics and Business and the Proceedings of the National Tax Association Annual Conference on Taxation. Dr. Navin has extensive experience in market analysis through his research as well as his outside consulting activities. He has undertaken numerous research projects for both public and private clients in the transportation, energy and government sectors. Such clients include, The Tri-City Port District, St. Louis Regional Airport, ConocoPhillips, Madison, St. Clair, and Clinton counties in Illinois, as well as the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Education. Dr. Navin also has over 25 years of expert witness and litigation consulting experience throughout the midwest.
